MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee has confirmed that the band will cease touring and will not record any more albums following the passing of the group's iconic frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister. "MOTÖRHEAD is over, of course," Mikkey told Sweden's Expressen newspaper. "Lemmy was MOTÖRHEAD. But the band will live on in the memories of many."

Motorhead Confirms Lemmy Has Died

Motorhead frontman Lemmy has died at the age of 70, after being told he was suffering an aggressive form of cancer.
The vocalist and bassist was told he was suffering from cancer on Boxing Day, and he's reported to have succumbed to the disease around 4pm on December 28 (Monday). Motorhead say in a statement:
